Via de Cristo

Via de Cristo is a Spanish phrase meaning “Way of Christ.” The Via de Cristo method includes an inspirational three-day weekend designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christians and bring them to a new awareness of living in God’s grace. Other Christian denominations offer something similar to this retreat under different names such as Cursillo (Roman Catholic), Walk to Emmaus (Methodist) and The Journey (United Church of Christ), however, Good News! Via de Christo is the chapter for Lutherans in southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio. There are usually two retreats each year (spring and fall) for both men and women.
